This almost slipped me by. Yep, I started my webpage in 1996. And for all that time I’ve kept to the 1990s idea of a personal webpage: it all comes out of my brain, and it’s hosted somewhere at my expense. And, to some people’s annoyance, it’s pretty much in the style of the 1990s. But hey, that has nostalgic charm by now, and it’s fast and doesn’t load a bunch of useless cruft. So, time to update the front page. A little. Mostly I made the mouse-over section more prominent, and put the links right in the center, so you don’t have to scroll down much. I don’t know how people view websites on their phones, but to help their eyes, I created a mobile version of the page which looks even more 1990s. There’s new content too: a new Bob’s review, a flash card page to learn the Verdurian alphabet, and the two pages I highlighted in the last post: the Yamda language, and an updated guide to traveling in Eretald. Plus I highlighted some meaty recent posts on this blog. It’s old news by now, but…
