On the Table: Burgle Bros 3, Pax Porfiriana, World Order, and More

Hi everyone! I just realised I haven’t done one of these in a while. So here is my usual quick catch-you-up on games I haven’t officially reviewed yet or won’t for one reason or the other. Enjoy! Burgle Bros 3: Future Flip This is my latest acquisition, I literally just got it yesterday and already have played 3 sessions of it. If you don’t know the Burgle Bros series, it’s a cooperative game about performing a heist. Not one of the meticulously planned fashion, more a “let’s just rush in and wing it” kind of job. BB3 retains a large number of core principles like guards trying to catch you, a safe (in this case a “mainframe”) to crack, gear to help, etc. There are a number of new tweaks though. For example, each character starts in a disguised state where they have an alternate form of health points that sort of protect them from the guards. At any point in the game, they can flip their character, drop the disguise, and get more actions but also become more vulnerable. This creates a…
