Can anyone tell me anything about these? I know almost nothing about them. They were my dad's, but I have no idea when he bought them, why, or how old they are. He passed away six years ago. Mum moved house four years ago, and as part of the tidy up I came across these. She has no information about them. I know it's a chess set, as the box contains a chess board. They are clearly characters, but from where I do not know. Possible a medieval theme? The pieces appear to be made of a very hard, almost stone like, resin. The tallest pieces are 2.5 inches / 6.5cm tall. They appear to be brand new, never used. Dad played chess a little for fun, but only with me when I was younger. He was not into fantasy or historical figures -- no idea why he had them. I was going to give the set to a charity shop, but I'm curious to know what they are. Here I am several years later, no wiser. Today was the day to get them out the box and ask the audience! Any ideas? Comment below, or contact me vivarious…
