Much of the Internet has descended into crapulence, but honestly I enjoy the stimuli I receive from Instagram. It is an outlet where some friends are and where I can share photos (98% mundane, 87% from running). It is an easy place to not say things. Or to have things said at one. I am exposed through Reels to the kaleidoscope of sentiments and phenomena and funny of civilization. I would not otherwise come into contact with these. I delete the app daily and re-install to upload some more mundane run photos. Some reels await in my messages. I do some mindless reel swiping. Send some to a few people. Tire of it. Delete again.One thing gleaned from this is the expression “use my free will to ___.” I am enamored with this phrasing exercise. All we do is live and use our free will, but voicing it this way causes my brain to freshly consider what can be done with it.I expect to someday use my free will to buy a Toyota Century.
