Rita Right On was the author of a series of satirical articles such as this one. I think of this article often and decided to share it here because most of us reading it can recognize in it some types of mistakes that you’ve seen firsthand, which you hope you aren’t making too, and be reminded that these mistakes aren’t unique to a particular group, movement, website, or even the internet era. Anyone can get so hung up on trying to fix things with infighting and pickiness over words that they forget to help each other in practical ways.
