For the past 24 hours I have been following a specific thread on the Tucson subreddit on Reddit. Someone posted that a cat or kitten seemed to be trapped under a sewer grate in the parking lot of a local mall. The cat had seemingly been there for two days, and many city officials were reporting they couldn’t help because the sewer grate had been welded in place. Discussions started about the sewer tunnels under the parking lot, and others started weighing in with the adventures they had experienced in those tunnels. The redditors started talking about getting together at 10:00 this morning. As I watched the thread grow, someone also suggested contacting Roto-Rooter, as they rescue pets as well.
