Tested: Unifino 4x DVD-R for Data & Video (UTJR001001), 8x DVD-R for Data (IMC JPN-R01)

It’s been a pretty busy week (and a blog post about that is soon to come) but let’s kick off this long weekend with another optical media post, looking at some media IDs that I haven’t otherwise seen before, courtesy of my Japanese source of second-hand items, Suruga-ya. The Media Luckily for me, they had enough stock so that I could get a decent number of samples of different types. Unifino 4x DVD-R for Video The first one is this blue-purple-and-clear wrapped pack of 10 discs. They are 4x DVD-R for Video, with the standard reminder regarding firmware updates. None of the packaged discs have an inlay card. The Made in Japan nature is clearly indicated on the front. The package, on the rear, has model number UD4-R120N10 with a barcode number 4582129160477. The packaging uses clear sections and opaque sections, allowing you to see through to the smoked plastic slimline cases. The side where the wrap is sealed does also have the model number.
