What are we doing here? Where are we going? Are we going anywhere? Does it matter? I started this dungeon map endeavor because my brother Hill was doing something with gerrymandering maps, and maybe general maps, and I got interested in producing random maps. One thing led to another and here we are. So the fundamental point of this program was to produce maps, and now here we are with some really fine maps and a fairly decent maybe B- program that creates them. One question that we might ask is “what’s next, where are we going with this?” There are surely a lot of possible answers, ranging from “nothing, nowhere”, through “building a little dungeon crawler game”, to some really unlikely possibilities like “building a program that makes Diablo IV look like a toy”. Because my real purpose here is to change code and write about what happens as I do it, I choose my “what’s next” based on little more than whim.
