Yesterday’s post had a link to FamiBro, and while trying to balance male and female representations of gaming websites equally is subjective and doesn’t make much sense (especially since FamiBro doesn’t seem very bro-y), it does allow me to make a largely meaningless introduction to a blog post about the website FEMICOM. There, done! Rachel Simone Weil’s FEMICOM is museum and repository of information on overtly girly gaming paraphernalia. They also publish research and a sporadically-updated blog on related issues.
