2026-05-29Hello!Whenever I go on walks with my camera, I sometimes feel that there's nothing interesting to photograph. Even if there is a scene of interest, I don't know how to capture it in one frame.In times like this, I turn around. I'm always looking forward and expecting something interesting to come up to me, but for some reason, looking backwards and seeing the path I just walked from the other side refreshes my brain and makes me see something interesting again.A lot of the photographs I've taken were from employing this strategy. To avoid tunnel vision and a narrow range of thought, look around you occasionally. If you're always paying attention to the noisiest sound, look away and see if the quieter scene in the other direction is more interesting. And if you're looking at your feet and the sidewalk, look up.Above me, these leaves collecting the soft rain were also reflecting the clouds above.
