botanic gardens We woke up to perfect clear blue skies and 16C at 7:30am, so I knew I had to get out as soon as possible and hoof it around the botanic gardens. I haven’t been for what seems like weeks. And I so wanted to see if the peony garden was in bloom yet. Well, it was, and it wasn’t. But more of that in a minute. There were a lots of staff out there on the grounds, our botanic gardens is also a part of the University Laval, so the place was swarming with (what I assume) were students. Everyone weed, pulling, and or doing change over on the various flower beds. As the seasons rotate, along with the flowers that bloom, so too do some of the beds which are planted with various seasonal plants. So I arrived today to see a lot of the beds minus flowers, all being groomed ready with fresh soil for the next lot to be planted. at least two magnolias still had flowers What I did find today were a few left over Magnolia blossoms, some apple, cherry, and dogwood blossoms, and yes, what I…
