Till my late twenties (now I am in my early thirties) I used to listen to music regularly. During my teen years it was on a bulky cassette player or a Walkman, or on the radio. In later years I switched to portable music players and then to mobile/smartphones. I still remember those moments vividly when I used to get excited about a new song and then go to a nearby music shop to get a copy of it. Each time I needed to ask my mother for the money, and request her not to tell my father ;). As I get older, I started listening to music less and less. I do not know whether it was really a growing-up thing or I just got overwhelmed by technology, especially the arrival of online services. I enjoyed the music till I had keypad phones but later there were too many things in on my (smart)phones. It is hard to find the culprit. And, it's not that I have not used iTunes, Spotify and YouTube subscriptions. I have tried them many times but their auto-suggestion feature was not always good. Often…
