My exercise journey dates back about 14 years when I first started running. The goal was very typical to lose weight. Looking back, I'm not sure I succeeded but over time my goals changed as did my view on exercise.I was probably in my best shape somewhere around the beginning of the pandemic, back then I used to run regularly 5-6 days a week, alternate between swim and strength training in addition to 2-3 yoga sessions per week. It was a busy workout schedule that made my body feel good and strong. When the pandemic hit I still kept with running and swimming (the pool in our gym was the only open facility during lockdowns) but strength and yoga got sidelined. We exited the pandemic with our first born and life got really busy with work and a newborn (and our two dogs) in the house. Most of my exercise routine fell apart although I still tried to run with the dogs in the morning before work. Then came our twins and for about 2 years my exercise regime became non-existent.
