There are still a few artists from my youth I've never seen live. Enter one Gary Numan. I remember hearing Are Friends Electric in the car as a child while we were on holiday at some seaside or other. Too young to have a "this changed everything" moment, but I can't help but think it shaped what I liked as a teenager. So maybe it did change everything? As I got older and started buying records, I found the Living Ornaments double vinyl box set. To this day, the first record of the set, Living Ornaments '79 is one of my most played albums. All of this is to say, Mr Gary Webb will be near this Parrish in November when he plays Wild Horse Pass Casino a few miles from me. He's been here before in the last few years and for whatever reason it just hasn't lined up. But this time, I have to make this count. This time.
