Lair, Shadows, Desert - Blast Shadows

A ruined roadside blockhouse bakes in the hot sun. Much of it was blown apart by some Crisis-era explosion; the rest, away by desert winds. It still makes for an attractive spot to rest in the shade awhile. Inside, the silhouettes of a dozen Imperial soldiers are scorched into the walls. Old molten armor and weapons are scattered throughout, some peeking out of the sand. During the day and night, they are almost completely still, withe nearly-imperceptible movements. The long-dead soldiers seethe at any trespassers in their domain. At dusk or dawn, the shadows make their play. They will move to attack sleeping intruders first. When moving, the shadows stick to the walls. They will not give chase, Buried in the sand is a locked chest bearing the heraldry of the previous dynasty.
