The first recording today starts with the end of Sportsround. There’s a trail for Natural Born Hunters. Then it’s What’s New Scooby-Doo? – Roller Ghoster Ride! This episode takes place at an amusement park. This particular ride looks rather dangerous before anything unexpected happens. But then there’s a green monster attacking the tether. Shaggy has won another competition – this time for designing a roller coaster – so the gang arrive. They’re there to meet the designers of the park, Chris and Terry, and there’s a rather cringey scene when they discover that Chris and Terry are women, because obviously women can’t possibly like rollercoasters. Shaggy and Scooby are enjoying the free food. The monster is back doing more sabotage. This time it’s a ride Daphne, Velma and Fred are trying out, and they almost get sliced by a big fan like they’re in Mythbusters. The park safety inspector is very busy with all this sabotage.
