June 2015 My last walk which took me onto Anglesey I did as a day trip from home. However now it’s got a bit far for that, so on this trip I am staying on Anglesey. However this is a 5 day (4 night) trip and this is my first day, which means driving from home in Surrey to Anglesey. Hence this walk is short as I first had to drive from home. The journey was mostly OK apart from a bad traffic jam around Birmingham (as far as I can tell it’s impossible not to get stuck in a traffic jam if you try and use any of the motorways around Birmingham). I drove to Pentraeth and then took a bus to Menai Bridge and another to Penmon. After all this it was around 1:30pm so I was keen to get walking! As the bus dropped me in Llangoed (as near as I could get to Penmon at this time of day), I followed the road back to the coast to reach Cynlais Beach.
