My laundry is piling up. I keep it in a bag under my bed but the bag is so full it’s hard to pull it out so I can stuff more dirty laundry inside. It’s such a pain in the booty to do laundry in the van… but my supply of clean clothes is running dangerously low. So, what’s a laundry-hating gal to do?!?If it were as simple as going to a laundromat… my laundry would already be done. But Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS) prevents me from going to a laundromat. Heck, I can’t even drive past one without risking a reaction. I’d much rather do laundry by hand when I’m at a hotel than in the van. I share some van life vs hotel laundry tidbits in my post, Hand-Washing My Clothes - One Part of Nomad Life I’ll Never Love. The way I see it…I could go to a hotel for a few days and do my laundry. It’s much easier than fiddling with it in the van.
