You all will be happy to know that my track strike on SoundCloud was quickly rectified. But it does highlight an issue with automation in general out there today. Obviously, a human had to intervene and listen. And speaking of, I listened to the track and figured out that it must have been a transition that sounded a lot like my ending, which was simply just wiping my hand across the keys upward, something we’ve all done a million times. It’s kind of like the noise strikes that people will get as well. But it points to a bigger issue in general, of industries being rewarded to try to get people out of the equation while monetizing every single part of the experience. So some old crusty track from 2007 that’s owned by who knows, is being used to automatically strike other tracks that are wholly unrelated. These two tracks couldn’t sound any more different.
