I did my capstone masters project on AI websites and whatnot, but I really hate when a site is recommended on the top of the search page, and they have the gall to generate a human scarecrow of sorts as the human representative that “wrote” the content. Fake name, fake image, generic bio. I don’t like to have to show my face online as much as the next person, but it really begs the question of how we verify real humans online. If the site was more upfront about it being a resource provided by or with AI, that’s one thing. But why try to omit that information? It seems purposeful, it feels dishonest, and it’s incredibly frustrating. If AI HAS to stay, why can’t search engines create like a filter for AI and human sites? I miss when search engines used to work. …Mmk, rant over. Signed, Susu ⋆˙⟡ Thanks for reading! Here's a cookie: 🍪Go Home
