I’ve noticed a gray calico cat roaming around my campsite for a while now. But when I go outside, she skedaddles. I assume she found her way here from a local farm. Yesterday morning…I headed out for a bit for a Walmart pickup, coffee, and a little quiet time on Flagstaff Hill at Krape Park. Just my kind of morning 💕 When I got back to my campsite…The gray calico kitty was sitting near my campsite’s electric pedestal. As I approached the pedestal to plug in, she looked as though she was going to run. I gently told her “No worries, you’re fine” and she sat back down. My campsite has a cabin in back of me and a cabin on my passenger side. The backdoor cabin neighbors were outside and we chatted for quite a while. When I headed back inside, Miss Calico walked in front of me as if leading the way. For a split-second, I wondered if the cat distribution system had me on its radar.
