Here’s the last one from James of Lakeside, California and the last one I’ve got on hand. Curry sounds nice – it’s actually Halloween today as I review this – just shows how far ahead I’m at. Anyways, let’s give it a go. Kichimi Curry Mien – Japan A distributor / import sticker (click to enlarge). Detail of the packaging (click to enlarge). Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add noodle to 500~600ml boiling water and cook 3 minutes. Add in sachet contents. Finally, stir and enjoy! Very thin straight noodle. A sachet of soup base powder seasoning. Finished (click to enlarge). Added egg, sauteed chicken, sesame seed, and scallion. Noodle is thin and plentiful. Texture is really interesting and pleasant. Broth has a sturdy thickness to it I didn’t expect – the flavor was really interesting; very rich. What I would think a German curry crossed with duck flavor would espouse. I would toss this in the compelling category. 3.75 out of 5.0 stars. JAN bar code…
