Following in Davey’s footsteps, I’m adding my answers to his for the, Dish Podcast Quick Fire Quiz. Especially as it’s all about food. First up: What is your favourite way to eat eggs?I so want to just snip, “On a plate,” but will add the sensible response: scrambled … soft scrambled, as in, not over cooked. Favourite sandwich filling?I love me a good Rueben but also, who doesn’t love a Monte Cristo (which is an American version of a croque monsieur.) But, to be honest, these days, I love me a well done croque madame. Go on, look it up. Favourite way to have potatoes?There are so many ways to cook and or use potatoes, but my all time fav? Has got to be my mum’s roast potatoes done with lots of duck fat (or what’s available, bacon anyone?) Best thing to put on toast?Butter. Plain and simple.
