Confession: I do not prep at all

Hi, it’s me, the person known for beautiful prep sheets1 and overwhelming props2, and an actual moderator on the Sly Flourish discord, home of the 8 Steps etc etc. I have this shameful other side though, where there are certain games that I just don’t prep for like, at all. At all at all. The game is at 3:00 pm and at 2:56 I’m rushing upstairs to plug in my computer and find my headphones. I mean, look at my “prep” sheets. (Players, at this point you should look away unless you want to be horribly disappointed in me. Yeah, I know you’ll continue to read. ) I can even show them although I know the players read this blog, because they have NOTHING on them. Character names. Some vague start. A turn tracker (which is also what those asterisks are, one stroke for each turn). A record of stars and wishes at the end of the game. Badgering notes to myself to be better. That’s it.
