A week ago, I had just started a project, archiving DVDs of old video footage via my PC laptop to an external hard drive. This weekend, I finished — yeah! But I did not finish using my Windows 11 computer. In fact…I’m using it more. I was using my gaming laptop at the start of this year, having sold and traded both my previous iPad and MacBook Air. And then I realized that an Apple Computer would be all but required — driven by my iPhone and its native apps — so I bought an iPad. It was supposed to supplement my PC. Instead, using it exclusively for three months, it ended up more or less replacing it. Until I needed to use my “real” laptop again. Once I started using my Win 11 clamshell, I remembered what I liked about it and how nice and capable it is. I found myself wanting to use it more. It had been ignored, wasting its potential.
