Most conversations about AI for pastors start with the sermon. I understand why. The sermon is visible. It has a deadline. Sunday keeps coming whether the week was calm or chaotic. But for bivocational pastors, sermon prep is only one part of the pressure. You may finish a shift, come home tired, try to be present with your family, answer a church text, prepare for a meeting, think about someone who has not been at worship in three weeks, and then still need to open the text for Sunday. That is not a sermon problem. That is a weekly ministry load problem. This is one of the reasons I am building YouPastor. Not because I think pastors need a machine to do their calling for them. I do not. The pastor still needs to pray, discern, study, shepherd, and decide. But I do think many pastors need a better way to carry the work around the sermon.
