Review by Sandre the Giant Released: 27th March 2026 British death metallers Cryptworm have carved a rather bloody little place for themselves in the glut of this modern UK death metal explosion, and their 2023 full length ‘Oozing Radioactive Vomition’ was incredibly well received. I came to that one a little late, but I can attest to its rabid charm. Well, the trio are back with ‘Infectious Pathological Waste’, the follow up out through a collaborative effort from Me Saco Un Ojo and Extremely Rotten Productions, because this is clearly so heavy you’re gonna need two labels to hold it all together. I think the title ‘Gallons of Molten Hominal Goo’ pretty much explains the gurgling, putrid rumble of the opening track, a veritable roll in the sludge of some of the ugliest guitar tone you’ll hear this year. Cryptworm are drowning in gory, guttural death metal riffs with sickening growls and shovelfuls of groove. It definitely feels like a more streamlined and swampy album than their last…
