This was my first time visiting The LA County Fair! Of course I brought my Camp Snap. Never quite figured out why this robot was at the entrance. This is Thummer, the fair's mascot. I was so excited to see my dear friends, the puppets of the Bob Baker Marionette Theater. The expo hall full of the craft competition entries fascinated me. I paid an extra $50 to stay for the concert: Evelyn “Champagne” King and The Zapp Band featuring Tuxedo. I was really just there for Tuxedo, who sounded great, but only played like three songs. I left as Zapp was starting “Computer Love” to check out the fairgrounds at night. I tried to revisit a couple spots for matching day/night photos. Just before leaving, I realized I missed…
