When I originally started blogging under the mantle of "History Will Say..." the intention was to write solely about Sapphic books, with maybe a few other hobbies thrown in here and there. I expanded to generally queer reads as I found I had lots of thoughts about other LGBTQ+ books to share. When I was still on Wordpress, I kept on theme pretty well and generally had around a dozen reads per post, maybe closer to thirty if it was a popular book or author. Since moving to Bear, I've felt more free to return to the pantsing1 type of posts of Ye Good Olde Internet; expressing myself with little concern for theme or professionalism. Part of this freedom likely comes from having disabled my LinkedIn account after they kept sending me targeted ICE recruitment ads and slews of AI-generated job postings for jobs that didn't actually exist.
