They have their grad student Carolwrite up the result. Alice and Bob intentionally leave their nameoff of the paper since they want Carol to get a career boost.2) Alice has a conjecture and does some work on it. Famous MathematiciansBob and Carol solve it and offer Alice a co-authorship.
