A few months ago, I waxed poetic on the Fields of Mistria early access. And in that stream of consciousness masterpiece, I wrote about how Mistria is the earliest to a game I've ever been.Or should I say, was.Paralives began development all the way back in January of 2019. Which, honestly, feels like a lifetime ago, even though it's only been seven years. This beautiful life simulator was created by Alex Massé in response to The Sims 4, a game which I understand has been...polarizing. (I'm still too embarrassed to admit how many hours I've logged in it, please stop asking.)I think I've vaguely been aware of Paralives for a while now, but I kind of forgot about it until earlier this month. There was a lot of buzz on r/CozyGamers that jogged my memory about it and I swiftly wishlisted it on Steam.
