Mid-late April and heading into May, I got body-slammed with probably the worst cold I’ve ever had (seems like folks all across the U.S. got this one, thanks spring breakers!). Daycare is building up the whole family’s immune systems. It was a -3.8 foot low tide one Sunday, so we went to Golden Gardens to investigate the tidepools. We saw crabs, anemones, whelk babies, an ochre starfish, seagulls, a heron, and a bunch of sea lions. Such a gorgeous day; I feel so grateful to live surrounded by beautiful nature.
