from may 24 to 30, 2026 hello, friends. i realized that up until this week i didn't have an rss reader. or i did, but then forgot about it. i have been manually looking up blogs i often read to see new posts. which isn't bad, per se. it makes reading them slow and intentional. but i also miss out on most posts. anyway, i just want to say i finally got an rss reader (again)! this week i also changed my blog color palette. i think i will be tweaking it some more to emphasize boldfaced texts. i also attended my friends' oath taking ceremony this week and it made me miss them and working inside a laboratory so much more. also, i spent a lot of time this week trying really hard to think about what to write for this month's bear carnival prompt. at the very last minute, i thought about writing about the challenger deep. but it's now almost 10 pm local time :') maybe tomorrow i'll be able to publish and we all pretend i made it on time! have a nice week ahead! media i've consumed this week:…
