Can you guess what it is?If you had asked me a few years ago whether I’d enjoy manually tracking every expense I make, I would’ve laughed. Yet here I am, two years later, opening a personal finance dashboard almost every day. How many are too many? #How I got here As most people do, I started off with a good old spreadsheet to track some parts of my finances — mainly investments and big purchases. It was good for a while before it started getting messy. I found it harder and harder to keep track of things, especially because it lacked envelope budgeting, a concept that I find quite nice where you allocate 100% of your income to one category or another. I tried several budgeting tools and apps like Fold & Firefly before settling on Actual Budget.
