#68 - From Spain

UpdatesI've decamped to Spain for a month - it's our usual summer plan, but with a slight twist this year. The expected happened, I mentioned that my company was expecting layoffs and after five years at Meta, I'm on the 'at-risk' list. I'm going through the consultation process, and while I try and do my job - I'll do it from Spain. Sunshine and tapas makes everything 10% better. Since writing my last weeknote (sorry I missed a week), we managed to get to two excellent gigs: Richard Ashcroft at the 3 Arena in Dublin was a lot of fun with some huge singalong moments, and then Kraftwerk at the Bord Gais Theatre - this was a real treat, with superb sound, great visuals and banger after banger from the electronic gods. Quiz League has been back in full swing, we've had a couple of narrow losses, so we'll need to dig in as we reach mid season.
