Kamy at the Casa – Havana, Cuba We’ve arrived at the last portrait session in Cuba. I’m sure you will recognize Kamy, who has appeared numerous times in this extensive series. I had a private photo session with her the day before I left Havana, and I shot a lot of frames at multiple sites around town. I’ve thought about how to feature these and landed on doing a double mini-series, which means six posts starting today. This portrait is different for two distinct reasons. First, I shot this at the Casa I stayed at, which is going to be the least architecturally exciting out of the series. You are really going to see a lot of textures in the subsequent posts. Second, I used the Sony A7C and the TTartisan 50mm f/2 lens that I featured in the previous three posts. The wide-open aperture rendered a softer background compared to the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 zoom I used for the rest of the portraits.
