The first recording today is Pokemon: Battle Frontier – Deoxys’ Crisis (Part 2). With Max, Meowth and Deoxys having disappeared, Ash and friends join forces with Team Rocket. Solana tells them that the magnetic disturbances seem to synchronise with sunspot activity, and they have to investigate the cave again. Meanwhile, Max and Meowth are floating in a white void with what looks like jelly beans and cheerios. Meowth says it’s a “kid’s room”. Deoxys talks to Max through Meowth and tells him that he travelled through space in the meteorite, and was very cold and lonely. “All I wanted was to hear a voice.” When the meteorite landed, he was alone again. “I was so sure when my journey came to a close that someone would come there to be my friend, but instead, no one, like there was no one on this planet. By then, I felt much too frightened to come out of the cave.” Max tells Deoxys that he’s not alone, and he’s his friend. And that there are lots of other pokemon on the planet to be…
