Saturday morning brings a fresh bag of beans — a free gift courtesy of the Morale Division at my day job. This one is from Oddkin: their OG Clubhouse blend, with purported notes of chocolate, caramel, and plum. I’m largely taste-deaf when it comes to the subtleties of coffee flavours, and in all honesty, I couldn’t tell the difference between it and my backup Aldi-brand Colombian beans. But I like those backup Aldi-brand Colombian beans, so to me this was still a damn fine cup of coffee. Reply by email
