As you may recall since May of 2024 I have been running Thinkware’s U3000 dashcam in my car and I’ve been absolutely over-the-moon OK with it. I’d reached the point where pretty much the only addition I wanted was a screen and a rear-view, and maybe the ability to be alerted when events happen to my car. In steps the Thinkware ARC 900 and I’ve got the rear 2K camera and a 4K front and a screen and all the things I’ve really enjoyed about the U3000. Oh yeah, it has an optional LTE attachment I’m either going to beg or buy for later on. On both I’m using the OBDII power adapter to provide power while the car is off for sentry mode. This means when a cat walks on my windshield at 3am I know what cat did it. I assume it would also be good for noting if someone hit your vehicle although thankfully I have not had that happen. I asked for the OBDII because I straight up did not want to wire my car for a product I was testing for a review, and it was freezing when I got this, but yeah –…
