At the start of 2026, I set myself some reading goals for the year: Read 2,400 pages of physical or digital books - I have hundreds of paperback and hardback books at home, that have never been read - all purchased with the intention of reading them Listen to 240 hours of audiobooks - I tend to listen to audiobooks or podcasts when walking the dog or out for a run, so this goal will encourage me to get outside more As it stands, at the end of May, I have read just 244 pages and listened to 83.47 hours of audio books. As of today, I am 736 pages behind my target and 14.5 hours behind on the listening. I am, at the time of writing: 736 pages and 14.5 hours behind pace These last few days of May and the whole of June will see me make huge progress towards catching up, if not exceeding these targets.
