Your account, your listening history, and your data remain exactly where they are. The team building Last.fm is the same. The service continues as normal. Last.fm is one of those perfect, does what it says on the tin, services that the Internet used to be so good at creating. Listen to music, scrobble (or log) the song you listened to, and you’ve got days, months and years of listening status. CBS Interactive bought it in 2007 and it’s just kind of…sat there, since. Now, they’re on their own again, and they make what they want.
