Mastodon (Bluesky/X/Instagram) is not the right platform for posting long-form content (a blog is)

I really like reading blogs. I also really like Mastodon as a social media, to keep in touch with people or to have a quick chat about random things. One thing I'm not a fan of though is when people post long articles which would be ideally suited for a blog as a "thread" on Mastodon. Here is a Mastodon thread I saw recently and found interesting.
