Missed posts for Love of All Wisdom subscribers

This post is about a difficulty with email subscriptions that occurred over the past year or so. If you’ve been consistently receiving Love of All Wisdom blog posts in your inbox more or less every week over 2025-6, you can safely ignore it. However, a significant number of my subscribers unfortunately did not receive posts starting at some point last year. If you’re one of them – if you only started receiving LoAW posts again a couple weeks ago – then please read on. This problem occurred because I was using a service called Mailchimp to send my posts out by email – a service which I can now safely say is disgraceful, and I want to discourage anyone from ever using it. Mailchimp cut off my posts because it decided I had too many subscribers for the plan I was on – a standard if unfortunate practice – but it didn’t tell me it had done this, so for a long time I didn’t even know this was happening!
