Microsoft recently changed the Game Pass lineup and pricing here in Brazil. The small reductions and new tiers came after the unexpect price rise back in September of last year, user backlash and people cancelling their subscription. It felt more like damage control from the new CEO than putting customers first. Game Pass Essential is 43,90BRL/month (about $8.50 USD), Premium is 59,90BRL/month (about $11.60 USD), and Ultimate is 76,90BRL/month (about $14.90 USD). Ultimate remains the top tier, with access to console, PC, cloud, EA Play, Ubisoft+ Classics, and more. I’m on Ultimate, and while it’s a good value compared to buying games individually, that doesn’t change that Microsoft is reacting to public pressure instead of leading with better service. With Brazil’s economy and an unfavorable exchange rate for us locals, those prices still matter, but context should be kept in mind. If you play regularly, it may still be worth subscribing, but watch catalog stability and future…
