For me I feel like having analytics on my blog is a double edged sword. When I was using Bear blog I used to check the analytics page all the time. It was cool, and often disappointing, to see how many views a particular post had got. On top of this, posts could also get upvotes which could help them get on to the Trending page resulting in more views etc. I wouldn’t say that I was obsessed over it but I did find that it impacted my relationship with my blog. This isn’t a complaint about Bear, they give you the option to turn it all off should you choose to do so. It’s me, hi. I’m the problem, it’s me. If I know the option is there then I will look at it. No two ways about it. To my knowledge there is currently no such readily available analytics on Pika and so I write just to write. Not having access to this information will mean I blog for the love of the game. If people are reading then cool. If not then so be it. Hails!
