In my previous blog post, Omnibus Update: April 2026 Edition, I mentioned that I would collect my thoughts on my 2026 Subaru Trailseeker after 3000 miles (4830 km). I am planning to do that write-up after having the car for 3 months rather than 3000 miles. Having said that, I took the first day trip from Portland, Oregon to the Mima Mounds Natural Area Preserve near Littlerock, Washington in the Trailseeker on Tuesday and wanted to document the DC fast charging experience there and back. If you would like to visit Mima Mounds, note that a Washington State Discover Pass is required. A single day pass costs 11.50 USD (fees included) and, if you frequently visit the state of Washington, or live in the state, an annual pass costs 50 USD (fees included).
