Miles: 9.5 Friendship. The most powerful human emotion. Today we all just hung out. We did a quick but somewhat dreadful hike in the rain then got to the mega shelter that’s two stories and has a shower. The shower was freezing and I went in with my clothes and did some laundry too. This shelter is built more like a log cabin than a shack which three walls. We went into Marion VA to resupply at a Walmart for a change after hitting a McDonald’s as usual. Walmart has good value packs and I finally got some camp shoes (Mtn Dew Baja Blast Slides). We then went to the outfitter in Marion which is tik tok famous I guess? They were really nice and personable there and let us charge some of our stuff. We then returned to the shelter with a ton of snacks and ordered pizzas. We then played card games and Magellan joined us. I haven’t mentioned this guy yet but Green and I ran into him a few days ago and last night at very late he set up his tent right next to mine and snored then pissed right…
