This is the tin some markers came in. It was sturdy enough to keep and perfect because it has a window so I can see what’s in it. But the tin was printed with the info about the markers and I didn’t think that looked very pretty. So I got out some other paint markers with a brush tip and started to doodle. Some colours didn’t work at all, not even giving coverage after three layers. Other colours covered perfectly in two. I need to let this dry now and then check where I need to add more paint at some spots and fix wobbly lines in others, but it’s close to being finished. And I love it. I can’t wait to use it now. And! I’ve saved something from the landfill, that’s perfect. It makes me want to go and buy all the wobbly boxes in the thrift store that need some repair and repair and paint them. It’s my little way of adding beauty to the world I guess, one ugly box at a time.
