Spotted this piece while crossing Clark and Chicago. They start out covered in tar which is eroded away by traffic over time. This one has been here a while.I had been out for a little stroll during lunch when I passed it. I thought of turning around and taking a photo right there and then, but the traffic lights didn’t agree. I kept walking up the street and came across a couple of girls posing under the wings of an eagle statue outside the entrance to a parking garage. I offered to take a photo and one of them asked me to get a disposable camera out of her bag. I handed the bag to her instead, and after some fumbling I managed to wind the camera and push the button. There was no click or indication of any sort. When I mentioned this to her, she insisted that the button was light and it didn’t take much. I’m really not sure I got it, but the good news is I will never find out.On the way back I made sure to annoy a delivery truck taking a left turn as I grabbed a shot of the street…
