Alright gang WHO’S READY FOR SOME SEA-SPOOKUMS (it is me, I am ready to be saltily spooklepated) ⦁ ⦁ ⦁ ⦁ ⦁ Alright, legacy character in Elizabeth and Will’s son, whomst I guess technically we have seen onscreen (from when they did they Davey Bone on the beach in the At World’s End’s stinger), and that’s always better than trying to force us to care about someone new ⦁ ⦁ ⦁ ⦁ ⦁ That’s either not Orlando Bloom or it’s Orlando Bloom having completely forgotten how to do this character. Either way: fair. ⦁ ⦁ ⦁ ⦁ ⦁ W—wait, I thought Davy Jones & Co.’s FACE-EMBARNACLEMENT was a result of his negligence to his duty as a seafaring psychopomp? So if Will is here aboard the Dutchman doing his job, why’s a dude all trypophobic? ⦁ ⦁ ⦁ ⦁ ⦁ I’ve never been able to decide if this series’ consistent ability to strongly imply a deeply fascinating, larger Weird World of secrets and mysteries while showing almost none of them is its greatest strength or weakness. Either way, I’m still talking about it…
